I dropped NordVPN for the same reason - IPv6 support had been 'coming soon' for over 5 years, until it wasn't. However, my ISP (and all available competitors in my area) are still maxing out at 80/20 Mbs.

I did block out the thumbprint (dunno if that was really necessary to do that--maybe better to show it?) will try and google the thumbprint see what shows up.

Oct 25, 2024 · If I connect to the Internet with NordVPN enabled, Norton 360 V24 says I am not connected and will not allow Quick Updates or Software Updates to run. Previous version of Norton 360 did not do this. Dec 7, 2020 · Putting on NordVPN strictly following their instructions of how to set it up on the Asus Merlin router firmware, I get about 110-130 Mbps download and 17-22Mbps upload. It varies, of course, (and I so wish NordVPN would handle choosing the "best server" on their end, like PIA does) but I'd say download is reliably above 100 Mbps, which is plenty.

Jun 24, 2022 · When connected to the NordVPN app, presumably it has changed the client's DNS server to its own, so you lose local name resolution w/ DNSMasq on the router. It's still accessible by IP because then you're NOT relying on DNS to reach the NAS.

Apr 30, 2022 · Do not use 386.7_2 or 386.7, it will not work stable with nordvpn. Esspecially the dns is buggy when using VPN (stops working). Use 386.5_2 on the ac86u and the also the dns servers of nordvpn will just work fine.
