Nov 27, 2023 · The 18’8” boat w/175 hp verses 19’8” boat w/200 hp (Z18 vs Z19) isn’t a big deal in rough water, a 21’ with 250 hp does make a difference. If the OP’s garage can handle the 21’ boat and engine then shop around for it, if not go with the boat you believe is right for you.

Jan 25, 2024 · The Z18 has checked every box for me and more. Awesome wholeshot, handles rough water particularly well for a boat of its size and design, and fits in my garage with 9” to spare. The single axle was needed for this arrangement as I use wheel jacks to get it as close to the garage wall as possible.

Mar 14, 2018 · I've looked at, and researched, both the Ranger Z185 and the Nitro Z18. I know that Ranger is considered the "Cadillac" of bass boats, but your paying for that name and quality. However, I didn't see a huge difference between Ranger and Nitro. They will both be rigged very similar, same motor, same electronics, etc.

Of course i called a Ranger dealer and when i heard the Z520 was around 70k starting out, I asked him the difference in the Nitro Z20/21 boat and the Ranger Z520.

Feb 22, 2016 · Just purchased the 2017 Nitro Z18 with the 150hp Four Stroke. Just finished the 10 hour break in and opened the throttle a little. Easily brought her to 60mph with a little throttle and a lot of trim left. It's the Silver/Red/Black color scheme. I traded in a 2006 Skeeter SX180 115hp. Huge difference. The ride is smooth.
