May 2, 2023 · Hello, first time poster. I have long been a Nikon user and love my z9..until today. For some reason, as I shot, the aperture on my z 70-200/2.8 increased automatically as I took a photo. I locked the aperture in after watching a tutorial, which I hated, and then the shutter speed began increasing. I am shooting on manual.

Dec 27, 2021 · The Nikon Z9 has a dedicated Network Menu section. The online manual provides a detailed description for each item. NOTE: I personally have only tested Capture One, Capture One for iPad, Nikon NX Tether, and Nikon Wireless Transmitter Utility (WTU). Nikon WTU transfers images as taken, but does not provide remote shutter release.

The 3D-LUT from Nikon is designed to ONLY work when the entire project/timeline is in Rec.709 (similar to sRGB) -- it works great when it is BUT results are terrible when you move to a more "classical" DaVinci Resolve 18 (DVR18) colour management approach.

Jul 18, 2022 · Have any Nikon Mirrorless (particularly Z9) shooters tried adjusting the picture control settings - for example increasing sharpness, contrast and clarity by +3 and brightness by +1 or +2 AND seen any difference in low light performance? I will be trying my own tests.

Jul 13, 2023 · I removed the (old) Nikon 1.4 teleconverter and attached the Z100-400. There were no issues during this morning's beach walk after shooting several hundred nesting and flying Terns and Skimmers. As Mack suggested, I'll clean my contacts and pins, but it seems the Z9 ain't the problem.
