Apr 5, 2013 · Had a call yesterday from a broker, wanting 2x4 5 ft long, anything goes for species. But this time, they were raising prices a bunch. For a 1 1/4 x 3 1/2 5 foot, not cut to length, they were paying up to 1.50 each. That translates into near 84 cents a board foot. I am thinking about putting on a night crew. Log procurement is my biggest problem.

Jun 11, 2012 · I installed the blade last night and tried to cut one 3x12, it made a big difference. It was still out a little but I have to take some lead out of the saw, Im thinking once I do that Im gonna be bang on. The saw doctor also put new teeth in for me, he told me just to use a soft tooth for now until I get the hang of sharpening.

Aug 5, 2006 · I was wondering where I might buy some raw liquid pine sap/resin. I use green pine branches when I stir molten aluminum and the sap works fantastic as a flux keeping the dross and hydrogen bubbles to a minimum.
