The Gillian Lynne Theatre (formerly New London Theatre) is a West End theatre located on the corner of Drury Lane and Parker Street in Covent Garden in the London Borough of Camden. The Winter Garden Theatre occupied the site until 1965.

The New London Barn Playhouse is one of the oldest continuously operating summer theaters in the country. Housed in a historic converted barn, the theater features professional Broadway actors alongside emerging young artists in an intimate, air-conditioned setting with no seat more than 30 feet from the stage.

Mar 8, 2025 · The Gillian Lynne Theatre originally opened in 1847 as the Mogul Music Hall. From 1919 to 1965, it was named the Winter Garden Theatre, but after renovations, the theatre opened as the New London Theatre in 1973.

My evening at the New London Theatre was nothing short of magical. The theater's elegant design and intimate seating provided an unforgettable setting for the performance. The show was professionally executed, with exceptional acting, singing, and choreography.

The New London Theatre was home to the original London production of Cats from 1981 until the production closed in 2002. Cats is the theatre's longest ever tenant. In 2018, the theatre was renamed The Gillian Lynne Theatre in honor of Cats choreographer Gillian Lynne.
