Aug 10, 2011 · I have been able to match up an Elizabeth PRITCHARD at Nant y Rhiw in 1841, with a baptism record from the Tabernacle Chapel, Llanrwst. The Tabernacle record shows a Margaret baptized 8 Jan 1815, father Thomas, mother Elizabeth, abode Nantyrhyw.

Sep 6, 2012 · She all ways said she was from Penmachno and lived with her grandparents until she was in school when her mother came and took her and her brother to Nant Y Rhiw where her stepdad lived. Her older sister Ann (Annie) maybe on a census in 1911 in Penmachno.

Feb 1, 2019 · My great great grandparents were Hugh Parry Roberts and Mary Roberts. On a trip to Penmachno I found their graves and also a grave belonging to a Barbara Roberts. I remember thinking it was an unusual name for that time.

Dec 4, 2015 · Two of the four houses recorded as Nant Y Rhiw were uninhabited. The exceptions were Evan Roberts, 35, an agricultural labourer, his wife Catherine, 31, and children Robert, 5, and Elizabeth, 2. Catherine was from Gwytherin, the others from Llanrwst.
