It is strange but my problem is off and on. My Jeep sputters, loses accelation and makes a bubbling popping sound when I hit the gas (also my RPMs drop).

For some reason I've gotten the urge to wash / wax and vacuum my Jeep this weekend. The last car that I waxed I just used some cheap turtle wax paste and applied with my hand and took it off with a rag.

Jun 23, 2009 · The semi-final test (before I replace the clockspring) was a test drive. That went very well. My Jeep runs great. I suppose the new plug wires, Dist. cap, etc from my initial shot at repairing the stumble helps. No stumbling at cruise RPM, no CEL, just good Jeep driving. I do not have a horn though.

I really like trail riding with some nice rock obstacles, I am scared of water because I get really ballzy around it and end up doing something dumb (Think Bismark) It is my daily driver after all.

Shifting the transmission from drive, to neutral then reverse, while jiggleing and pulling, seemed to work sooner or later. The good news is, when you get it to work, it will generally work easier the next time.

Dec 23, 2003 · The analog OEM dash clock will eventually drain the battery of my CJ, but it takes much longer than three days. By any chance, do you also have a radio installed with a preset memory which is also continuously drawing power? That will also drain the battery in time. Perhaps when your Jeep is again being frequently driven, the problem will vanish.

Oct 3, 2011 · 4.0l jeep limited This jeep did not come out with a radiator cap but has some kind of recovery tank system ? the problem I am having is when you go from high engine speed back to idle the water just spews out of the recovery tank ! im not sure if I have the right cap for the recovery tank but this is a odd kinda of cooling system.
