May 19, 2024 · Musou black- this paint was about as thick as the black 4.0 maybe a little bit thicker but not so much as to be noticeable. The coverage was in the middle of the three paints requiring 2 coats to fully cover the base. This was the deepest black by quite a margin, it was noticeable at a glance which was the musou black

Dec 27, 2022 · Sadly that finish is also the biggest drawback because when touched, it tends to break that velvety texture to gloss black, and varnish (airbrushed) is it's worst enemy - makes black 3.0 less intense than for example vallejo black (varnish turns black 3.0 into frosted dark grey). I see some niche uses like painting inside of the well.

Feb 19, 2023 · Id assume that it will decrease the pitch black effect in some percentage, you can do few tests on different fabrics before you do it on a real pair. Maybe a different model like the knitted AF1 or just converse will be more effective base for this paint

Oct 22, 2022 · Musou Black published some specifications. If you look at the reflectance plots, you'll see that the reflectance of Musou Black increases sharply once we're out of the visible range. However, the plot only shows reflectance values of up to 2%, so we don't really know how well Musou Black performs at the wavelengths of interest.

Jun 23, 2023 · My brother got me some Musou Black paint for my birthday for painting purposes and I was really excited to try it out! In the first image, the skull is painted with Musou black through an airbrush, while the second skull is painted with vallejo black primer, also sprayed through an airbrush. Visually, you can see the differences right away.

Jun 22, 2021 · The problem with those "ultra black" Paints is that they're mostly a trick of photography, where the reduced light reflection is more easily caught. In person, those blacks are not nearly as impressive. I bought Culture Hustle's "Blackest Black" and it doesn't do much more than Citadel's Abaddon Black, to be honest.

Semple has even gotten upset about Mosou black and trying to frame it as a health risk compared to his black 3.0. Dude isn't a good guy, not even factoring in some of his other shadiness around things like the poor service of his storefront, culture hustle.
