Apr 19, 2020 · The MVP23 has been on my radar for a couple of years now. My only hesitation on it has been mixed messages on post guitar center deal durability of Morgan amps. This is going to be an endgame amp for me in terms of medium gain single 12” workhorse combos. I’m expecting it to last and/or be serviceable for a 10+ years.

Mar 2, 2010 · It does NOT get as much chime as the AC30. HOWEVER, Joe Morgan is sending me a kit to install an extra bright cap and change the amp to a 3-way bright selector, from dark, bright, and brighter. With this new bright cap, I SHOULD be able to get the same amount of chime, if not more on the Morgan. I didn't switch amps. I got the AC20 over the AC30.

Those two amps sound fantastic panned left and right, like they complete each other (as Vox and Fender style amps tend to do). Dec 17, 2023 · Yeah I'm seeing some other online detectives saying the corner piping matches the BE-100 Deluxe and wouldn't make sense for the other similar shape/style amps that are being speculated on (Plexi, Morgan, etc.) I'm not that observant to detect those small details on various amps so I appreciate those of you who can!
