Aug 30, 2020 · I upgraded to TrueNAS and kept the FreeNAS 11.2 version of miniDLNA. Today, I deleted the FreeNAS jail and used the guide in post 11 to install miniDLNA in a TrueNAS jail. It worked perfectly, so the guide works even though miniDLNA is no longer being maintained.

Aug 30, 2012 · Turned "on" the plugins and then I went to Plugins and installed the minidlna amd64 version (for version 8.2 of freenas - minidlna-1.0.22_3-amd64) All day the miniDLNA configuration was ot appearing in the tree on the elft, but now it has appeared.
