It can only be used during the night; attempting to use it during the day will neither summon the boss nor consume the item. Using another Mechanical Worm while The Destroyer is already summoned has no effect.

Reworked, now summons a mechworm that charges, fires lasers, and teleports onto enemies. Its damage can be further increased by summoning additional segments that require and occupy minion slots. This change is inherited by the God Slayer Horned Helm and Auric Tesla Space Helmet's Mechworms.

Mar 20, 2025 · I just finished a Co-Op summoner playthrough last weekend and assuming you're just before Yharon I was using the Mirror, a few Mechworm staff summons then the rest into Cosmic Viper Engine summons for Yharon. The Sentry from The Old Duke also did pretty great damage in that fight.
