Now, my scars are easily 6 years old so I wasn't expecting anything drastic but I still purchased the MRM brand MSM cream from Amazon for $14 and have been using it religiously every night on a clean face.

Oct 28, 2013 · I never took MSM supplements, but I use MSM cream topically here and there. It helps a little bit with scarring, but it never helped with active acne. MSM works great for some people, but if you tend to react to sulphur then it's probably not the right treatment for you. My acne gets worse when I take any type of supplement with sulphur for acne.
