The MGV-176 is a submachine gun chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It is a modernized version of the American-180. It was manufactured in Yugoslavia by Gorenje from Velenje until 1979. Production continued in Slovenia where it is apparently still manufactured by Orbis.

MGV-176 submachine gun is blowback operated, selective-fired weapon which fires from open bolt. The receiver and pistol grip are made from polymer.
