Jan 1, 2023 · The XPS data show that the MBT molecule is adsorbed on copper oxide, with binding energies of 399.5 eV for N 1 s, 164.4 and 163 eV for S endo and exo-cyclic, respectively. The amount of adsorbed MBT increases from 23 to 32 Å from 1 h to 24 h immersion of copper in the aqueous solution with MBT.
