Feb 7, 2024 · I recently (this weekend) discovered that there is water in the passenger footwell (front) after rain or washing the car. It is really a puddle of water so there must be quite some leak.

Sep 9, 2014 · I've driven my 2013 M5 many times in torrential rains in Miami. But you do have to manage the throttle. A throttle happy driver will crash in the rain. It's excellent. It feels like one of the fastest cars on the road in heavy rain. Tons of grip from the fat Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Sep 14, 2022 · My F10 M5 develops a soggy nearside rear footwell after heavy rain. Wet-vac out a litre or two every other day at the mo, given miserable weather. Pretty sure it's the yellow grommet of doom.... ☹️ Only blessing so far is electrics seem fine.

May 28, 2022 · Mine has The 21/22 setup (Michelin) and it does hydroplane as well during heavy rain above 65. Not unlikely with high performance tires. Just adjust your speed accordingly until you do not hydroplane and make sure your settings are adjusted to the milder options.

Jan 10, 2016 · I had a leak problem a few months ago--after a lot of rain, the floor in the rear footwells would be soaking wet and water would splash out when I opened the rear doors. I couldn't see exactly what was causing this, but the dealer wound up replacing the following parts:
