M4A3(76)W HVSS (M4A3E8) – nicknamed the "Easy Eight," from the E8 variation code identifying the HVSS suspension. Introduced in 1944, this was upgraded with widetrack HVSS, fitted with the 76mm M1A2 cannon, improved armor and firepower and wet stowed ammunition.

Feb 16, 2023 · No, it isn't 'that bad'. It's still a pretty well armoured stabilised 76 on a mobile chassis. It still let's you get away with things you probably shouldn't. People who complain about it are seeking a vehicle they can hold W in and click on tanks and haven't yet realised that isn't really a thing (since both Jumbos moved up).

Introduced in Update 1.45 "Steel Generals", the M4A3E2 is a makeshift heavy tank based on the original M4A3 Sherman variant. Though it appears to be a standard M4A3 Sherman medium tank, it can absorb significantly more damage than any M4 Sherman variants and can efficiently assault enemy positions.
