Apr 16, 2015 · Long shadows and high detail streaming are a much, you will notice while flying, and long shadows makes them spawn ages away, i have a 280x and it all runs really well maxed, high res shadows made me drop shadows to high though, but it stops them spawning in 5 feet infront of you, so thats a must!!

Grass shadow: same as soft shadows. Differences are barely visible. Even on low, Grass and small stones cast shadows. Long shadows: you might want them because they really look great in sunset and sunrise. It's the same as in GTAV and long shadows were needed when a car's headlights should cast shadows.

Dec 13, 2022 · SOLUTION: Next time you start the game, go into the settings and change 'Soft Shadows' to 'Softest'.Then go to 'Advanced Graphics' and increase the 'Extended Shadows Distance' to the max, making sure to hit apply once doing so.

Now, as far as I know, Cinema 4D renderer does not allow motion blur, but for this animation is not that necessary.

Apr 14, 2015 · Extended Distance Scaling and Extended Shadows Distance (in Advanced Graphics) both give my GPU a beating. I just set these to minimum. High Resolution Shadows (also in Advanced Graphics) has a high performance cost with little visual payout, in my opinion. MSAA is costly even at 2X. You will get frame drops.
