Jan 8, 2025 · Most of the times I would need it is for capoing up within the first 5 frets - artifacts seem more apparent on clean tones for sure. Personally I use a physical capo for tuning up any number of frets. I would use Poly capo for downtuning to Eb for instance.

Nov 20, 2020 · For pitch shifting and capo, I think the Fast setting works the best with the Auto EQ left at 6 or 7. So far, it’s been almost indistinguishable from my Whammy DT IMO. The Whammy might be just a touch smoother, but it’s really splitting hairs. Could just be the expression pedal feel though.

Apr 9, 2023 · Hi- is the Poly Capo function the same as using an actual capo? Yes, but no. An actual capo takes time to apply/remove, and doesn’t allow down-shifting. Also using an actual capo does not result in any dissonance as you hear the physical vibrations of the strings.

Dec 17, 2020 · I'm using Poly Capo for a couple presets on my HX Effects, and it's by far the best tracking I've ever experienced. I have an EHX Pitch Fork, and I've played the Digitech Drop quite a bit. PS: If you place it wisely and stereo is no necessity, DSP is alright even with the Poly Capo.
