Lee Lally was a founding member of Mass Transit, a group of poets active in DC in the 1970s who published a literary journal and hosted a weekly reading series, and co-founder of Some of Us Press (with Michael Lally, Ed Cox, Terence Winch, and Ed Zahniser), an influential literary small press which was published out of this address.

Lee Lally (May 1943 – 1986) is the author of These Days (Some of Us Press, 1972). Individual poems of hers were published in The Trinity Record, The Gay Liberator, and December. A co-founder of Some Of Us Press, she served as treasurer and bookkeeper.
