Jul 11, 2020 · Band 25=Band 2, and Band 26=Band 5. These Sprint towers and LTE bands and being incorporated into T-Mobile's LTE network and are broadcasting both LTE bands natively just like AT&T started to unify B12 transmission onto their B17 towers without issue, simple software/firmware patch.

Feb 18, 2021 · Bands 2, 4, 25, and 66 are T-Mobile's main speed bands, they are fairly widespread although not nearly as much as 12 and 71. Bands 41 and 46 are capacity bands, mainly deployed in areas where the other bands are somewhat overloaded.

For example, what is the T-mobile equivalent of Sprint band 41. T-Mobile bands 2/25, 4/66, and 41 are all very similar in speed and range to Sprint band 41. T-Mobile band 12 is similar in speed and range to Sprint band 26, however T-Mobile also has band 71 which is similar in range but with much better speeds.

Feb 12, 2021 · Band 41 is the most important band for LTE speed where T-Mobile's network is under heavy load. Bands 2, 4, 25, and 46 are also useful for LTE speed where T-Mobile's network is under heavy load. On 5G n71 = coverage, n41 = speed, n260 and n261 = more speed but nearly useless due to the horrible coverage.

Mar 6, 2023 · In other areas I expect 10 MHz of band 71 to be active on 4G for a long time. Bands 2/25 and 4/66 are medium range 4G bands. Band 2 is a subset of band 25, which means that all of band 2 is included in band 25. Band 4 is a subset of band 66. Band 2/25 is gradually getting bandwidth reallocated to 5G.

Apr 18, 2017 · Band 2 consists of PCS A through F blocks. Band 25 consists of PCS A through G blocks. Since the entirety of Band 2 is within Band 25 it is called a subset and Band 25 the superset. Every carrier has some spectrum within the PCS A-F blocks which mostly were used for legacy purposes as they were licensed years to decades ago.

T-Mobile obtained some of bands 25, 26, and 41 from Sprint, however they are going to sell band 26. T-Mobile plans to use bands 2/25, 66, and 77/78 for 5G in the future. Note: Band 2 is a subset of band 25, meaning that all band 2 spectrum can be used for band 25 but not all band 25 spectrum can be used for band 2.

Jun 3, 2022 · They are keeping Sprint towers that don't overlap T-Mobile coverage and converting them to T-Mobile. But they won't use Band 25 & 26 LTE when converted to T-Mobile. They will use band 2,66 & 71 possibly 12 depending on area. if iPhone's are older than XS or XR, they don't support band 71 LTE otherwise you will be fine.
