Nov 10, 2011 · yeah i was thinking the same. i think the LB7s fire off a constant 96v and dont ramp up or down like the LML. What id like to know is just how long the injector actually stays at 12v after the "up to 240v" initial shot and why it is worth that kind of effort to drop teh voltage.

Oct 7, 2017 · Considering on buying a 13-15' LML. How reliable are these trucks in the long term period, specifically tuned (Mild tuning) ? Currently have a 12 6.7 powerstroke. Has been a very reliable truck, but wouldn't mind trying an LML . (decision would be between a 13-15 lml duramax, or a 14-15 6.7 powerstroke) .

Feb 17, 2020 · well, the LML is a good truck, but like every other truck, when you fix one previous generation issue, something else slips through the cracks, so no truck is perfect. I will say though that the LML is a good truck, with lots of features and power.

Nov 16, 2024 · No, LML have a regulator on the rail and one on the pump. The one on the rail controls the idle and low rpm/power rail pressure. Pump one kicks in above that. There is also a regulator on the return side for return fuel that keeps pressure on injectors to stay above 60psi

Sep 11, 2020 · This is a 2016 cab and chassis that had the classic cp4 failure. I installed lbz pump and new lml injectors and started and ran like a top, but anything above +- 10percent throttle it will stutter and stumble and shake and almost die out. Sometimes it will. I thought, well maybe it needs retuned. Nope... same thing.
