Feb 18, 2020 · Both rounds have the ‘L’ number code ‘L18A1’. The 5.56mm marked ‘RG 17 L18A1’ and the 9mm ‘IMI 07 L18A1 (+)’. ‘L18A1’ 5.56mm for a current British issue blank, and ‘L18A1’ for a current issue 9mm Ball round supplied to Britain from Israeli Military Industries (IMI).
