Feb 28, 2005 · The entire disc is then scanned and the frames seperated out using photoshop actions (this where the precise placement of the film becomes necessary). This scanner allows a 6400 dpi scan which is plenty big for disc film and our lower priced scans are only 2400 dpi and they don't show any digital artifacting in a 4x5 print.

Dec 16, 2016 · Kodak's original PCD software was released on every PhotoCD sold; it was baked in for convenience. Adobe used to have a .PCD converter built into PhotoShop. I used to run a lab where we used both of these professionally in days long past, and Contenta is simply unrepentant mercenary. Boo. VERY bad form, old boy.

Is there any software for accessing these old CDs and DVDs? Master scans were used primarily on 35mm film, and were very low cost, but a lower resolution.

Jan 19, 2007 · Other posters have mentioned it was discontinued "decades" ago. Not really. Film was available through the mid 90's, I believe. At least Kodak / Qualex was processing it through the late 90's. (I know, a friend of mine worked for Qualex and often worked on the Disc line. They stuck a coupon for Advantex cameras with each processed disc!)

Sep 18, 2009 · <p>If you have a generation 8 Kodak (look for a single digit number in a small box in the lower right hand corner of the disc cassette) then Dwaynes is a good option for you. This are the last disc films ever manufactured and they generally come out ok in the normal processing that Dwayne's provides.
