Jan 18, 2020 · Like the kimber Montana due to the fact I'm fan of the model 70 and also how light of a rifle it is. Also figured I could use it as a good base line of a build down the road. the begara premiere look's just like a **** good shooter for a out of box rifle, and is sharp.

Jan 18, 2020 · The CA is really a nice rifle and a tack driver. I simply prefer the CRF mini-model 70 (MRC) like action in that type hunting rifle. The Kimber is lighter. I think Christensen is a better company and no question has the best trigger on the market - TriggerTech. The Kimber trigger is good too but a goofy shape. I think I will put in a Jard.

Dec 8, 2016 · Sold a couple guns and looking into a light weight gun for hunting trips out west. I have always liked the Kimber Montana but now the new Christensen arms mesa looks interesting for around the same price. I think I can get a Montana for around $1200 and I've seen the mesa should retail for 1200ish. Any thoughts on this?

Mar 1, 2003 · I purchased a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC last year and it shoots 3/4 MOA or better with Hornady ammo. I did replace the stock with a McMillan just because I like it better but it wasn't necessary. I picked it up on Sale for $1600. With all of that said, you could probably get a nice custom for $3000 if you don't go nuts on options.

Nov 24, 2016 · The closest thing they make now is the "classic select grade." I can have one of those, or another rifle of similar value, if I want it…and if I pay Kimber another $525. Apparently I bought an expensive coupon. I'll probably give them the money and sell the brand new rifle to someone who's willing to take the risk on a Kimber.
