Some individuals have come forward to dispute Ribbon’s credibility and these claims.

Jan 3, 2024 · Katsucon may seem like an extrovert's paradise since the party atmosphere is so strong there, but you honestly dont have to socialize and cosplay if you dont want to. Ive been to many many many cons, and no one is going to look down on you for choosing not to cosplay.

Ok let me assume hes really there. Now especially without flutter to accompany and moderate his behavior, hes gonna get kicked out even faster. Or maybe hes already banned before it started, owing to katsucon's proximity to chris, making it one of the easiest cons for him to get to. First animate raleigh and now katsucon.

Jan 14, 2019 · Katsucon's appeal (to me) is being a giant convention that feels more like a huge house party. The Gaylord National Resort (GNR) plays a big part of that, but even a decade ago the hotels it was in still felt that way. There was always something going on, even at 3am.

Jul 25, 2023 · People being angry at Katsucon is a huge facepalm while hotels are jacking up their prices. A weekend pass shipped for Katsucon is still under $100, but a 3-night hotel stay at the Gaylord costs over $900. And it still sold out in about a minute. Supply and demand.

Jan 29, 2018 · Katsucon is a smaller shittier version of otakon. At least otakon keeps it's programming up to date, and doesn't change shit around at last second without informing guests. If you want to introduce your friends to cosplay and con culture, it's a great start, but if you already attend otakon, don't even bother with Katsucon.
