Jack, a poor country boy, traded the family cow for a handful of magic beans, much to the dismay of his widowed mother. However, that very night, the beans grew into a massive, towering beanstalk reaching up into the clouds. Jack climbed the beanstalk and found himself in the castle of an unfriendly giant.

The next day, when Jack woke up in the morning and looked out of the window, he saw that a huge beanstalk had grown from his magic beans! He climbed up the beanstalk and reached a kingdom in the sky. There lived a giant and his wife.
