JSR Corporation (formerly 'Japan Synthetic Rubber Co., Ltd.') was established in 1957 for domestic production of synthetic rubbers. Since then, JSR has continuously expanded its business to emulsions, plastics and other materials for the semiconductor, flat panel display, and optical materials fields by leveraging our proprietary polymer

JSR is currently taking up the challenge of materials innovation applicable in new fields, including the life sciences, environ-ment and energy that make use of the acquired technologies in the fine chemicals sector. These are under development as future JSR core businesses.

JSR Corporation was established for Synthetic Rubber Production. Since then, JSR has expanded its business based on materials and technologies in other areas, such as information and communication, represented by electric materials and display materials.

JSR incorporates processes for chemical management in CSR procurement, green procurement, green purchasing and other areas of the implementation flow as part of our supply chain management.
