To honour Team Lotus’s victory in the 1972 and 1973 F1 World Championships, John Player Special (JPS) was released to commemorate the success. The cars were number-badged (numbered JPS dashboard badge) and painted black with gold pinstripes to honour that 1972 F1 World Championship title.

The result on this show car is a beautiful layer of bespoke gold paint which playfully glints through the 10 layers of rich, dark Candy Black. In certain lights and at certain angles, the paint provides a subtle nod to the original JPS colour scheme, but with a modern and exciting twist.

Base Edition additional 7 colors: New color? Should be a nice deep black with silver speckle? This could be a silvery aqua blue! Bright red seen at Hethel?
