Aug 16, 2018 · I guess with this post I just wanted to start a discussion on the celtic influence on anime and the overlap of that with Japanese culture. The wistful/melancholy feel of Irish music seems to fit well with the Japanese concept of mono no aware, the awareness of things. The rich folklore tradition of mythical beings and spirits seems to overlap too.
