Which mangaka artstyle is most fitted to draw HxH?
Aug 7, 2023 · I'm not strongly opposed to someone else drawing HxH but it definitely wouldn't be the same. Edit: If I had to choose who I'd like to draw HxH, I'd pick Yukinobu Tatsu (Dandadan). His art is not similar but he does have a lot of skill and range.

But of course, like we have in HxH, sticking to the original creative force is hurting the project. It’s a “Take the good with the bad and the bad with the good” situation. Personally, as more time passes, I feel more and more Togashi should indeed pass off art duties to others. But I understand why Togashi feels this way.

Letting someone else than Togashi drawing HxH would change
Sep 2, 2022 · Making hxh's hiatuses much shorter or having HxH be published with no hiatuses would worsens Togashi's health even if he doesn't "draw" (technically he still need to draw to show the drafts how he wants them to be, wants correction to be done etc). Hiring an artist won't shorten the hiatuses.

Mar 1, 2020 · At this point he does not draw 100% anyways, he has assistants, but I doubt he would like to fully let other people draw his manga. He's an artist, and even considering his low output of chapters, HxH is still his passion project. I don't think many artists would be able to give up doing the most important part of their craft - actually making it.
