Feb 22, 2019 · So 15400 is an oil filter and if you look up any vehicle that number will come up ( 15400-RTA-003 Pilot ) the PLM or RTA as listed with the Pilot I can't answer that because it applies to so many Honda's. and as far as the last 3 digits its internal mostly and your parts guy will tell you they dont matter much as far as the part is concerned.

Dec 15, 2015 · As the OP, thanks for the posts on this. I'd be looking at a Honda OEM parts kit and agree that a Honda dealership has no responsibility in guaranteeing non-OEM parts. Guess this is where an estimate is done with the dealership and negotiation regarding who buys/supplies parts, and the assurance that they are Honda, or Honda approved parts.
