Feb 9, 2023 · Just looked them up. They seem like alright guys but a couple things on their FB page FAQs rubbed me funny. They limit it to 1 hog per hunt "to keep them stocked" even though they would "be more than willing to take full price for a second hog". For an invasive species that seems kind of wrong, like part of the reason hogs are such a problem.

Feb 6, 2021 · The land along the river is almost always privately owned,unless it is a gameland,and one would need permission to hog hunt the adjacent properties.Getting permission,just for hog hunting,outside of deer season, will probably not be much of a problem in areas that the hogs are really tearing up the woods and fields.

Aug 29, 2022 · You are correct on PDWR only folks that get a deer hunt can hunt hogs, I think if you bow hunt the early or late archery hunt you can shoot a hog. In my past experience those hogs move once the pressure starts at the Refuge. I have shot 1 hog down there and found it. I have shot 2 more I never found.
