Press your ticket barcode on the screen and board quickly. They do not stay long. We purchased our Heathrow Express tickets at the Advance Purchase rate for a low rate way in advance.

Jul 23, 2018 · Natalie, you can use the Oyster card for Heathrow Connect which is on the same platform (at least it is at Terminals 2-3) as the Heathrow Express. It just takes an extra 15 minutes to get to London Paddington; that's it. It's still quick. So if you want to arrive at Paddington in 30 minutes, take the Heathrow Connect and use your Oyster Card.

Jun 21, 2023 · The Heathrow Express is a good option in my opinion and while it costs more than the slower train options, discounts are available online with early reservations. We'll probably do that. The other two train options also leave from Paddington, but unlike the Heathrow Express can be caught from multiple locations before Paddington.

If you are going to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, you can buy it in advance for 5.50 Pounds.
