I have the Halo 3 collar. Pros: tracker, 20 fences, training in the app. Cons: I couldn't get feedback often at a large property I go to. Halo support sucks, is it worth the $600/$700 + monthly fees, I dont think so. But so far I dont know of a better option for dogs on the move often.

Jan 5, 2024 · I recently bought a Halo collar for my gsp. We used a PetSafe wireless collar system before, so my dog was used to the concept. The Halo app is fairly straightforward. It is easy to setup and creating the fence boundary is a snap. However, I am honestly on the brink of returning it. In my experience, the collar is extremely inaccurate and laggy.

We have 3 Verizon towers nearby, so for GPS fence collar, we need to use competitor. To close, when the collars work, they work.

I cannot let her off leash without some boundaries because she Will find trouble 😅 In the summer she does great with scooter joring, but I cannot hitch just her to a sled as it would be too heavy for a run.
