Half-Life 4, like half-life 1, would presumably have its own expansions, possibly running parallel to those of Half-life 1. Thus, we have 5 new protagonists to work with.

It would be a multiplayer or singleplayer campaign game like Halo that takes place in the Half-Life universe with options to be in third or first person mode
