Aug 13, 2020 · Today is relatively easy and involves only 4 hours of walking. Gyabla is at 2,730 m (400 m higher than Amjilosa). When you arrive you may think this village is a tiny one, but in actual fact the main village is hidden by the ridge to the west of a lodge on the main trail.

Apr 11, 2022 · See the world's third-largest peak up close on this challenging 23-day trek along Nepal's famous Kanchenjunga Circuit. Spend some time exploring the capital of Kathmandu, then make your way deep into the soaring Himalaya to set off on foot from Taplejung.

On this day, we will also travel to Gyabla. We walk through dense woods that are usually covered in rhododendron flowers in the spring and summer. After descending for a while, we begin to gain altitude again before arriving at the Tibetan settlement of Gyabla. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Following the excellent views of striking waterfalls, walking through beautiful forests, trekking along with Tibetan settlements we finally arrive at Gyabla. We also witness blossoming rhododendron forests during spring, which is also the national flower of Nepal.

Mar 22, 2025 · Day 7: Trek to Gyabla (Kyapra) 5 hrs. 2,730 m/8,956 ft. Today, we walk through forested trails filled with rhododendrons and bamboo. We also come across a big waterfall on the opposite side of the river on our way to Gyabla. Making a steep ascent and then a gradual descent, we arrive in Gyabla.

Dec 8, 2024 · Gyabla is a peaceful hamlet where Tibetan Buddhist influences begin to appear—monastic chants or the spinning prayer wheels might leave you feeling spiritually lifted. Day 5: Trek Gyabla to Ghunsa Trekking Duration : 6–7 hours

Day 7: Trek from Gyabla to Gunsa (4 to 5 hours). It is the capital of Kanchenjunga region. The area has good telecommunication facilities, accommodation, and good meals.

Day 01: Fly Kathmandu to Suketar (2420 m) for 45 minutes, then Drive Taplejung to Sukathum/Japantar (1576 m) for 5 to 6 hours. Day 02: Trek Sukathum to Gyabla (2730 m)—7 to 8 hours. Day 03: Trek Gyabla to Ghunsa (3415 m): 5 to 6 hours. Day 04: Trek Ghunsa to Khambachen (4050 m) -5 to 6 hours.

Jun 28, 2023 · Along the path, trekkers may come across yaks, sheep, goats, and a variety of enchanting bird species. Following a midday meal, the trail leads through dense forest coverage and across a wooden bridge, eventually reaching Gyabla, where the group spends the night.
