Nov 14, 2023 · tl;dr: there is no law in NY limiting the number of guns you may own.-----The law mentioned earlier is here:...but this is often misinterpreted. It does not say that it is a felony to own more than 10 guns. Remember that for purposes of this section of NYS law, a "firearm" is a pistol/SBR/MSR/AOW:

Apr 20, 2011 · My brother-in-law (who is a LEO and a considerable "gun enthusiast") told me the best way to clean my guns was to use a good powder solvent followed by saturating everything with carburator cleaner then lightly oil everything plus a couple of drops of oil in a few key parts (e.g., metal slides, etc.).

Being a S&W you'll alawys be able to sell it at a fair price, Personally I'd keep it unless I wanted to upgrade to a handgun I'd actually use. I bought a Kimber Pro Team Match when I first moved here to Washington State for about $1,100, I never shot it.
