Pack-hunting creatures from the realm of Azyr, Gryph-hounds are noble beasts who detest corruption. Their sharp senses pierce deception as easily as their beaks and claws shred the flesh of the unfaithful.

Gryph-hound. Many Lord-Castellants march to war with a bonded Gryph-hound by their side. These incredibly loyal companions are alert guardians with eyes so keen they can penetrate any mystic veil or see through any illusion.

Accompanied into battle by a loyal Gryph-hound Lord-Imperatants are charged with marshalling the combined forces of the Stormhosts. To them, the chambers of the host are as shields and swords, each echelon and conclave a tool to be wielded as necessary.

A gryph-hound is a hybrid of eagle and dog with the ability to understand speech in the Common tongue and in Elvish. Some humanoids train them as war beasts, and some Small races have been known to ride them into battle.

Gryph-hounds have senses as sharp as their retractable claws and heavy, hooked beaks. These nimble quadrupeds are possessed of a noble disposition and an innate hatred of Chaos, and they will ferociously attack on sight anyone or anything tainted by the Dark Gods.

Knight-Judicator’s Gryph-hounds. Gryph-hounds have an innate ability to sense corruption, which makes them excellent lookouts. Knight-Judicators bring two into battle, so they can concentrate on sniping enemy Heroes in the pandemonium.
