Sep 4, 2020 · As an avid player of P5 and a semi-avid watcher of Riverdale, I have to reluctantly give the vote to Betty, if only due to the fact that (as it's been previously mentioned) fuccboi Akechi is not in actuality a Detective Prince, but more like the exact opposite (like, an Ace Defective or something), in that virtually all the crimes he "solved" were in effect caused by him.

Aug 2, 2019 · Who cares if Akechi wont go to jail or whatever, if it did happen at best it would be a footnote at the end of game. If that alone makes you think something is a bad story then you do you. For me its all about the dilemma of having to work with a murderer out of necessity and the internal struggles of the character.

Oct 25, 2020 · Akechi is a trickster, just like Joker, and one of his Persona's is the Norse God Loki - it wouldn't be surprising to find out he had one last trick up his sleeve prior to what everyone else thought was his untimely demise. Ultimately, there's no clear answer if Akechi is still alive, and that's probably the developers intent.

It's always possible there isn't a realization that the character they "like" isn't actually Goro Akechi, but his fake personality he puts on, or just like them ...

Apr 25, 2020 · Honestly, Atlus tried way too hard to downplay Goro's actions as being a 'child' and explicitly blaming Shido for his actions - which just leaves a bad taste, because he's supposed to be this super genius - and even when you find out he wasn't, he's never repentant, but Joker just handwaves it away, and the rest of the group just....follows suit.
