There are 20 characters in Go! Go! Pogo Cat. Each one has their own unique strengths and weaknesses in their stats. You’ll start out with Pogo Cat. Once you obtain a new cat (through Coin Capsules), you can upgrade it by spending gems. Every time you level up a character, one of its four stats (Score Bonus, Coin Bonus, Gem Chance, & Fruit Chance.

Missions are presented right from the very start of the game. They require the player to complete a certain task (usually 2 to 3 times) before being fully cleared, and as a result, the game rewards the player with either coins or gems (with the exception of the 5 collab missions, which give the player a reward in The Battle Cats instead).
