Goenitz (ゲーニッツ), also named as "Goenitz of the Wildly-Blowing Wind" (吹（ふ）き荒（すさ）ぶ風（かぜ）のゲーニッツ) is a character in The King of Fighters series. He debut as the main antagonist and final boss of The King of Fighters '96.

Goenitz lifts his opponent by their head, and manifests a immense whirlwind to strike them while he holds them inside. In KOF XV, the version has Goenitz manifest another whirlwind blow after the initial attack.

Quickly spawns a stationary tornado at one of four locations relative to Goenitz, with the EX versions spawning in between each of the four locations.

Apr 1, 2023 · Goenitz is the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. Goentiz always knew his duty as a Heavenly King and was planning to revive his lord Orochi. In order to achieve his goal, he became a religious missionary who traveled to various places.

In KOF XV, Team Orochi 's story and cutscenes confirm Goenitz's revival. Though he does not take part in the tournament initially, he is in contact with them via phone and says that he had fun with achieving his own goals.

As one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi, the almighty Goenitz devotes his entire being to serving his dark lord. His dignified wardrobe (that of a pastor) and polite mannerisms give off a gentle air, but mask another side of him—that of a ruthless monster quite happy to inflict pain and suffering on those who dare stand in his way.

He is the head of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi; with the power to command wind, his full title as a heavenly king is Goenitz of the Wildly-Blowing Wind (吹き荒ぶ風のゲーニッツ, Fukisusabu Kaze no Gēnittsu). Goenitz took his namesake from an alien character in the anime, Space Battleship Yamato.
