Apr 22, 2014 · Whenever I play around in Gmod, the sounds play loop whenever I die, remove it, or it just happens randomly. How do I fix this? type in console snd_restart ^^^ grav gun, tool gun, and other things were making super annoying random almost buzzing like sounds and the only was i was able to fix was by doing this, thank you sm!!!

Aug 18, 2015 · I've been having some lighting glitches. Like, I'll look at one spot, and the screen is normal. Then I look a little to the side or move at all, and then it glitches and it's either really dark or really bright, when moving it's just spazzing out with lights. I've verified the files and such, done the mat_fullbright 0.

Dec 19, 2022 · If you do not have a single mod that's being unstable/glitchy then try to Factory Reset Garry's Mod by going to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod" and double clicking the file named "FactoryReset-GMod.bat". If you have went through all the steps above and the game is still acting up, try to fresh reinstall Garry's Mod.

Dec 12, 2017 · Gmod was perfectly stable yesterday, with nothing of this sort occurring. I’m worried whether its something to do with my monitor or graphics card. I’ve verified file integrity, factory reset gmod, restarted my pc, and uninstalled and reinstalled.

Feb 20, 2023 · Added a possible fix for the infamous "black Skybox" glitch. Third-Life Mar 9 @ 1:13pm I uninstalled some addons and it seemed to fix the issue, I think it might have been a TF2 texture mod that gave correct textures for the maps.

I'm not sure if this is still a common bug in the game today, and i don't know if there are straight answers or steps that will solve the problem that i am having, but it seems the third person feature from the "sv_cheat 1" for me is having problems.
