Apr 29, 2008 · I would use a glue called "Barge" which was available from my shoe repair shop. It is a contact-type cement used for gluing the rubber soles back onto shoes. It remains permanently flexible (somewhat) and really holds.

Apr 30, 2012 · I bought the E6000 "extremely tacky" (they make some that is not quite that tacky, too) glue at an art store and it works perfectly! You just apply a couple of small beads of the glue on the back of the rubber piece and let it sit overnight before placing onto your camera.

Jul 1, 2008 · Could anyone recommend a type or brand of glue that I could use a small amount of to stick a small "unstuck" patch of my D300's grip near the battery door, plus the zoom rings on my 17-55 and Tok 12-24 which have come loose and sometimes slip off when working (my hands tend to get very hot).

Nov 30, 2011 · The rubber grips adhesive on my 3.5 year old D300 started letting go all at once this Fall. Tacking back down wasn't an option as they had also stretched beyond their recesses in the body. They were worn, but not worn out.
