Diggit/Diggin' It was one of GMTV's weekend children's programmes, which began on 14 March 1998 and replaced Wake Up in the Wild Room. It also replaced Disney Club on Sunday mornings. It was broadcast from 7:10 am to 9:25 am on Saturdays and 8:00 am to 9:25 am on Sundays.

Weekends featured the Disney-produced Diggit/Diggin' It, and the GMTV-produced Up on the Roof cartoon blocks, and The Sunday Programme on early Sunday mornings before the children's shows. Upon its launch on 1 January 1993, it wasn't commercially successful until a turn-around came by the following year.
