Oct 29, 2013 · If someone would make a nice slim high-quality 7 or 8 round mag for the G36 I would buy at least 8 or 9. Still, I'm very happy with the standard 6-round mag. That short, slim mag carries easily in a pocket and makes for lightening-fast reloads. Also, when a spare is carried the rounds are held super-securely.

Aug 4, 2009 · The stock G36 mag springs don't always provide enough upward pressure on the mag followers in the mags with the long (deep) +1 baseplate to give reliable feeding. Wolff's "extra power" G36 mag springs fixed this for me, and I've had no further feeding difficulties since getting all Wolff mag springs.

Nov 30, 2024 · The G36 in particular gets a lot of internet grief but I can honestly say that I've got one with several thousand rounds through it and the only time I ever had problems with it was when I thought I/the aftermarket was smarter than Glock and I added a Pierce +1 extension (that admittedly used the same mag spring at the time). Jul 30, 2012 · For all you G36 owners, I have found a great company that makes G36 mag holders. LAG Tactical has single holders for $35 and double holders for $50. I have been looking for actual G36 mag holders for a long time without any luck, seeing that the G36 is the red-headed stepchild of the Glock family when it comes to extras.

Jan 2, 2012 · The width difference is not much a G30 is 1.28 inches and a G36 is 1.10 inches. With a G30 having 10+1 verse 6+1 plus with a G30 my spare mag is a 13 round G21 mag. You can only use a G36 mag in a G36. My BUG Bag I carry a few 27 round mags that work flawless in my G30 also. Some food for thought
