Mar 20, 2015 · The G43 naysayers seem to be overlooking the factor of weight. Sure, there are advantages to having more rounds, but that comes at the price of comfort. A G26 is disproportionately thick for it's tiny size. A G43 seems to have good proportions. Everything is a compromise. Everything.

Nov 6, 2017 · So, there are only six of the 34 official parts in a Glock pistol and magazine that differ between a Gen3 G26 and a Gen4 G26. Three of those parts (items 3, 5, and 6) can function in both Gen3 and Gen4 pistols under appropriate circumstances, leaving only three parts (items 1, 2, and 4) that are absolutely generation specific.

Sep 3, 2018 · I’ve had the G26 in Gen 2.5, 3 and 4. Liked them all of course but to me the Gen 4 is what I decided to keep. Like above, I like the larger mag release. I also like the blackstrap and prefer the beaver tail. Liked the Gen 4 so much I bought a second as a back up.

May 9, 2021 · Weight and bulk is really not an issue as compared to pocket carrying my G26. I think the big issue is the G26 frame just does not fit my hand as well as the un-cut G19 one does, but it still shoots well, better than a 5 shot J frame would, and still holds twice as many rounds. Jan 13, 2013 · Early G26/27's didn't have checkering on the front strap between the finger grooves, but the checkering was added some years into production. Some folks want to call the early one's Gen 2.5 and the checkered one's Gen3, but for my money, a little checkering doesn't make a generational difference.....still Gen3.

Jul 4, 2022 · Example of MDX G26 MOS upper on PF940sc lower. Upper has been flawless on both G26 and G27 frames as well. RDS options are limited for direct mount as the cut is only 1.7". Easts most everything except my lowball cast reloads. Round count prolly around 1.5k so far.

May 27, 2024 · Honestly, that galco ghorsehide holster is the only holster that allows a easy draw for a g26 from a pocket. It works fantasticly for a g26. The design where the leather is sewn above the sight channel sets the gun back far enough in your pocket to allow a clean draw. If you like it for your 42, you will find it works great with the g26.

Nov 21, 2023 · Buy an MOS G26 and mount a Holosun SCS onto it. Did you already have a optic or have a specific one in mind? I wanted to have the Glock MOS cut on a standard size gen3 17 slide but retain the original location of the rear sight. It doesn't seem like that is possible (looked at Maple Leaf, Battle Werx, and a few others.)
