What’s all the Fos about? (staining protocol) - The Snyder Lab
Jul 20, 2017 · Many studies on memory and learning utilize the immediate early gene c-Fos as an indicator of recent synaptic activity. By quantifying c-Fos positive neurons, we can compare activity across different populations in the brain, and analyze co-labelled neurons with other useful cell markers such as BrdU and Doublecortin.
FOS+ B cells: Key mediators of immunotherapy resistance in …
Dec 19, 2024 · FOS + B cells, identified across multiple cancer types, were associated with poor response to immunotherapy. FOS may form AP-1 (activator protein 1) with JUNB, thereby promoting the expression of Blimp-1 and subsequently facilitating the differentiation of B cells into immunosuppressive plasma cells.
FOS+ B cells: Key mediators of immunotherapy resistance in
Oct 18, 2024 · FOS + B cells, identified across multiple cancer types, were associated with poor response to immunotherapy. FOS may form AP-1 (activator protein 1) with JUNB, thereby promoting the expression of Blimp-1 and subsequently facilitating the differentiation of B cells into immunosuppressive plasma cells.
A Brief Introduction to the Transduction of Neural Activity into …
In learned helpless behavior training in Fos-GFP transgenic mice, Fos + cells of helpless mice show increased evoked gluta matergic transmission compared with Fos – cells. In resilient mice, Fos + cells show reduced glutamatergic transmission compared to Fos …
A central role for Fos in human B- and T-cell NFAT (nuclear ... - PubMed
It is important for the production of interleukin 2 (IL-2) by T cells and is also expressed in B cells. Here we show that NFAT complexes in B- and T-cell nuclear extracts can be supershifted prominently with Fos antibodies and to a variable extent with Jun family protein antibodies.
FOS+ B cells, identi ed across fi multiple cancer types, were associated with poor response to immunotherapy. FOS may form AP-1 (activator protein 1) with JUNB, thereby promoting the expression of Blimp-1 and subsequently facilitating the differentiation of B cells into immunosuppressive plasma cells.
A semi-automated brain atlas-based analysis pipeline for c-Fos ...
Jan 15, 2021 · We have developed a novel open source FIJI-based immunohistochemical data analysis pipeline, Atlas-Based Analysis (ABA). ABA uses landmark-based image warping to adjust the experimental image to closely align with a published rat brain atlas. c-Fos positive cells are then quantified within predetermined ROI coordinates derived from the brain atlas.
Nuclear RNA-seq of single neurons reveals molecular signatures of ...
Apr 19, 2016 · Through evaluation of common whole-cell and single-nuclei RNA-sequencing (snRNA-seq) methods, here we show that snRNA-seq faithfully recapitulates transcriptional patterns associated with...
Ventro-dorsal Hippocampal Pathway Gates Novelty-Induced …
Jan 11, 2021 · Our results show that ventral MC activity gates contextual memory formation through an intra-hippocampal interaction activated by environmental novelty. Contextual memory is formed by a combination of multiple sensory stimuli and can be tightly associated with context-specific episodes.
Permanent Whisker Removal Reduces the Density of c-Fos+ Cells …
May 15, 2018 · Our data indicated that the permanent deprivation of whiskers reduced in 4-fold the density of c-Fos+ cells (a calcium-dependent immediate early gene) in cornu ammonis subfields (CA1, CA2 and CA3) and 4.5-fold the dentate gyrus (DG).
