Jan 6, 2012 · a 75 lasted mine approx 1.5 yrs... and I was pushing it.. doing 50% WC's 2x a week or more. Oscars and cichlids in generally are bad combos with fire eels. and a 100 w/ an oscar and a fire eel unless you "really know what your doing" is a disaster asking to happen. Fire eels are not aggressive fish in general, they do well with non-aggressive fish.

Mar 5, 2022 · All the commonly available ones overlap with the range of the fire eel according to Seriously Fish, and they tend to enjoy being in and around crevices more than most other Botia type loaches, meaning there's a pretty good chance they'll get the food in there. Would love to see some pictures of whatever loach you get.

Oct 3, 2006 · tankmates for a 2ft fire eel.. well big fish.. from what i experienced fire eels are very peacefull with other fish.. as long as there big enough that the eel cant eat it.. i would prob throw some oscars in there.. an adult JD would probably work too..

I decided to squeeze the internals of the worm onto the shrimp, and stack a piece of shrimp with a piece of worm on top like a tiny sashimi.
