Aug 16, 2020 · I had so-called Aptasia Eating Filefish (large ones and small ones), and it was extremely common for them to take an odd, still, 'pose'-- like floating motionless at a strange angle for periods of time-- but a video would help to know whether that it what you are describing.

And I don’t think it’s getting much food from eating my montipora. after the filefish leaves the montipora alone for a while the polyps come back out so it seems that the fish isn’t actually eating the coral successfully.
