There's no manager so you have to install it all manually, (from memory, I think one if the mods had a missing hashmap, so I had to Google it) or there is the Lunatic Pandora installer which does it all for you, if you're willing to pay a $2 donation for it.

May 6, 2021 · 2013 original PC version of FF8 = tonberry + mods 2019 remaster version of FF8 = demaster + mods The process is much the same with either method. You first run the program Tonberry/demaster. Then you unzip all the textures from the mod texture folder into the tonberry/demaster textures folder and you are pretty much done.

Dec 16, 2022 · Both have mods. I personally use the original version. The remaster updates the models, but not the backgrounds, so you'll need a mod to replace them. If you go with the original, you'll probably want mods to replace all the visuals (models, backgrounds, menus, etc.) There's a thread on qhimm forums with everything you'll need.

The mod tells an impressive story in its own right, but it becomes even more impressive when I would remember that it is being told within the confines and cutscenes of the existing game!

Aug 26, 2019 · The character textures in most of the available mods look out of place to me as well, possibly because they simply had to slap new textures on the same boxy shapes. Again, its all a matter of opinion, I don't like the many of the faces on the modded textures the same way some people don't like the remaster models.
